 Add two trees per SSL
At capacity, a conventional 175W HID fixture is responsible for about 1400#'s of greenhouse gas emissions annually. The equivalent Cireon SSL is at 400#'s. This means that for each you replace with a Cireon SSL, you'll be adding two mature trees to the fight against climate change. At two trees per luminaire, imagine the forest you could create simply by changing to more cost-effective lighting.
 We need darkness
Light pollution is more than just a waste of energy. Nesting, migration, and feeding habits of numerous species of wildlife are affected by "sky glow", and light pollution obscures the beauty of our night skies. Cireon SSL is "directional", meaning light is put where it's wanted. No other commercial lighting technology can make that claim.
No more Mercury
 Mercury is an essential component of fluorescent, metal halide, mercury vapor, and sodium lamps, all of which are considered "hazardous waste" under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Cireon products do not contain any mercury or heavy metals.
